I am a therapist and I am also a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son. I also believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. My beliefs are my beliefs….I respect the right for everyone to have their own belief system and I DO NOT impose my beliefs or values onto my clients. It is important to acknowledge that faith plays an integral role in the lives of my clients, regardless of their beliefs. I work with clients from different religious backgrounds, including non- religious belief systems. As humans, our faith guides us in the counseling process.
While I never impose my beliefs upon my clients, I realize that our beliefs impact our clinical interventions. It is my desire to witness my clients having balance and acquiring a healthy well-being –emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually.
